ABOUT MADEBYKASSY
Hi! Thank you so much for checking out my ceramics!
I'm a small batch potter, working out of Creators Space in St Paul, MN. I enjoy making functional, happy ceramics that bring a little joy into the home. Most of my forms are minimal, cheerful, and glazed in precious pastels. Take a peek at some of my past work in the Ceramics Gallery here.
My work is available for purchase in the Creators Space shop and on etsy here.
I am also the pottery studio manager and teacher at Creators Space, supporting several dozen small scale potters throughout the cities and beyond.
Learn more about my throwing classes here.
These are my pots, made by kassy, with love.
Interested in custom ceramic pieces?
I love making commissioned pieces. It's really rewarding to make special pots, take on new challenges and make with a purpose in mind. I so appreciate the trust involved to make pottery for you and your loved ones. A few of my favorites were a sake set, custom mugs, and sweet berry bowls.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I request a commission?
I'm so glad you're interested. To inquire about a commissioned piece please fill out the contact form with as much detail as possible. Include information about the piece(s) you'd like me to make, size, color(s), customizations and anything else you think is relevant. I will get back to you within 48 hours with a request for more information and/or a quote. Once everything is settled, I'll get started on your piece!
How long does a commissioned piece take?
Typically, commissions are done and delivered within 8-10 weeks, possibly sooner. That said, pottery is unpredictable and timelines are estimates - lots can happen during the making process and sometimes a piece needs to be restarted from scratch. If pieces are for a special occasion, such as a birthday gift, I will do my very best to meet your timeline, but it is always best to put in your order as early as possible.
What will it cost?
Costs are dependent on many factors - materials, overhead studio costs, admin and most importantly time, all go into pricing handmade pottery. Pricing quotes are shared via email once we confirm the details of your piece(s). A deposit of 50% is required to start the project, with the remainder plus any shipping due prior to delivery.
Have more questions? Please fill out the contact form and I will get back to you as soon as possible. :)
